Dr. Terry Williams hosted a drive in his office. They donated canned food and other helpful items.
The Lord provided a whole pallet of bacon from a local distributor! It is 1,620 lbs of Boar’s Head bacon. Our guests will enjoy it for breakfast on many Sunday mornings! Please let us know in the comments if you are a bacon lover.
Pastor Gus called and asked me to pick-up water, hand sanitizer and bleach. Silverdale Baptist was giving these valuable items to the Mission. Their parking lot turned out to be the central command for EMS, fire and police services helping with the tornado disaster.
The Chattanooga Coffee Company donates their coffee to the Mission. They are closing for the rest of April. One of the last things they did before closing was to make sure we were well stocked with coffee.
Bill has been volunteering at the Mission by transporting the men in the Steps program to church. He recently joined our staff as a Night Shelter Manager. We are really glad to have him on our team!
We just picked up two boxes of toilet paper. It was a generous gift from Brainerd Baptist Church. Thank you to Pastor Josiah and the missions department for their support!
